Battle of the Books
Battle of the Books is an exciting reading competition sponsored by the North Carolina School Library Media Association (NCSLMA) for students in 4th and 5th grade. Throughout the school year, students read a selected list of books, work together to discuss and remember key details, and compete as a team by answering questions about the books they have read. Battle of the Books encourages a love of reading, strengthens comprehension skills, and promotes teamwork, critical thinking, and good sportsmanship—all while having fun with great books!
